Flight Services

MAF operates an amphibious seaplane capable of landing and taking-off from either paved runways or water landing sites (rivers, lakes, or coastal waters). Our aircraft can accommodate up to 8 passengers. Bangladesh has over 13,000 km of usable waterways. With an adequate length of water, MAF can take you where you need to go.

On-demand Charter Flights

On-demand Charter Flights provide the most flexibility, as the user can request when and where the flight goes.

On-demand Shuttle Flights

On-demand Shuttle Flights provide a cost-effective way to reach your destination. Shuttle Flights are regular charter flights to predetermined geographical areas, whereby passengers from multiple organizations share in the cost of the flight by booking individual seats. Currently we offer a Northern Shuttle that serves districts along the Jamuna River and a Southern Shuttle that serves the southwest and coastal region.

Southern Shuttle

Operates Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings (between 9am and 12pm)

Northern Shuttle

Operates Sundays and Thursdays afternoons (between 1pm and 4pm)

Emergency Medical Flights

MAF is able to provide medical flights to access health care or reach medical facilities that would otherwise be unavailable. A doctor or other medical professional should verify the medical condition prior to the flight. Additionally, a doctor or appropriately trained medical professional should accompany the patient onboard the aircraft. MAF does not operate as an air ambulance and does not provide medical assistance or equipment onboard.

For emergency situations, MAF may be able to conduct a flight within 24 hours of receiving the request.

MAF Aircraft Landing

Our Destinations

Our amphibian aircraft is extremely versatile being able to land both on water and at regular airports. We have either landed or identified over 300 different water landing sites across Bangladesh. It is possible to request flights to a new water landing location. Our booking office will provide guidance for determining if a new location is suitable for water landing.
